K-2 Literacy Coach

PS 173, a public elementary school in northern Manhattan, is currently looking to fill a Common Branch vacancy for the upcoming school year with an exceptional teacher who is currently employed by the NYCDOE. Ideal candidates are well versed in the TCRWP or possess a willingness to embrace the practices supported by the Project. Administration is committed to student achievement and ongoing professional development for teachers across grades.

We are also seeking a K-2 Literacy Coach for the upcoming school year. Ideal candidate is well versed in the TCRWP work and must possess a willingness to commit to growing the work alongside our K-2 TC Staff Developer and 3-5 Literacy Coach. Previous experience as a coach preferred, but not required. Professional resiliency, strong organizational and communication skills are required to thrive in this role at a terrific public elementary school.
