Definite: Classroom teacher Grade 3

Concordia International School Shanghai is looking for an Instructional Coach for its Middle School program (Grades 5-8) serving approx. 420 students for the 2013-13 school year. We are an affiliate school with Teacher’s College and prefer to hire teachers with a background in the Reading/Writing Project model.

Our school is a private, college-preparatory school for expatriates in Shanghai that was started in 1998 to enrich the lives of students by challenging them to reach their highest potential in all aspects of life. The program is holistic and American-based in nature for students from pre-K through grade 12. Technology is fully integrated throughout the learning process with grades 6-12 participating in a one-to-one Apple laptop program. One of our greatest strengths is an emphasis on community informed by the school’s Christian character.

As a faith-based school, we require that all teachers be practicing Christians who can model their faith to our students. If that describes you, I would encourage you to peruse our website: to learn more about our school and complete an online application. Do this by clicking on the Employment heading that appears at the lower right corner of the opening page of the website. You can then review open positions, learn about our salary and benefits package, and learn more about the school in general. JD: Teacher
